The job of your subconscious mind is to protect you. It is like your guardian angel. If you and your outer circumstances have programmed your subconscious mind to keep you poor, because you have been raised in faith that God loves poor people more than rich people, then it will keep you poor in order to protect you. And it will start to sabotage you every time you try to make money and to become rich. So if you truly want to become rich, then the only thing you have to do is to retrain your subconscious mind and change your beliefs and attitudes.
But first you must change your beliefs about yourself and about rich people. It is probably much easier to change our thought about ourselves than to change our attitudes toward rich people. If you continue to believe that rich people are selfish and go straight to hell, you'll never get rich, because your subconscious mind will protect you from being selfish and going to hell. Very often we do not pay attention to our words that we say about other people.
If we become aware of the power of our thoughts and words, we start to pay close attention to what we are thinking and how we are talking. If you have watched the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know," then you have heard about the Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto who started to experiment with water crystals and made a discovery that our thoughts consciously or unconsciously influence water molecules which form 76 percent of our body. Thus, our thoughts and words influence our environment as well as ourselves and create our reality.
Most of us have met or seen millionaires only on TV or in other media channels, which means that media has influenced strongly our attitudes. We are taught that one cannot have much money and also be spiritual, as only wealthy secular people are those pursuing money only.
I changed my mind and attitudes toward millionaires and other wealthy people when I had a chance to personally interview a real millionaire. We didn't talk about his moneymaking strategies, but rather about his national and linguistic background and his values as a member of his community instead. When sitting at his home and talking to him, I discovered what it means to be "noble". He was an author of many historical novels; he was a composer and a film producer, but all these things didn't make him rich, vice versa. He couldn't possible write, compose and produce movies about his much-suffered nation without being rich.
At this moment I realized the concept of nobility. I understood that a poor person can never be or become noble. He couldn't possibly do all these things without money. Of course, he could apply for money for many projects as I had done so far, but his life would have been miserable due to constant struggling with poverty.
If you have seen the movie of Wayne Dyer, "Ambition to Meaning," then the difference would be something like it was between Wayne Dyer and the journalist in this movie. At this very moment I changed the way I looked at the millionaires. I made a "shift"; I decided to become a noble person living in abundance and harmony fulfilling my real purpose in life. It definitely doesn't mean that you can't make money and be noble at the same time. You can make money without being noble, but you can't live an abundant life without nobility. And this is the difference between struggling about money having never enough and living in abundance and harmony.
I have studied several teachings of millionaires and online moneymaking systems since then, and I discovered that moneymaking systems proposed by millionaires are much more trustworthy. Why is that? I think because there are again certain values and there is a different mindset. These principles are very well described in the book, "Entrance To Power," written by Philip Smit. He claims that in order to create long-term success in business your service or product should be of such quality and value that your clients receive more value from your products or services than from the money they are paying for it. In this way you are creating increase in other people's lives, and due to this you can expect a supernatural blessing in your business.
Jamie McIntire claims that the right mindset represents 80 percent of success; marketing strategies provide only 20 percent. Therefore we may presume that if we neglect the right mindset, we shall be held back from financial success. Jamie McIntire brings a very good example explaining what is the difference between the mindset of millionaires and an average moneymaker. He claims that when they asked most Australians what they would prefer: (a) million dollars in cash, or (b) taking the effort to develop the mindset that is necessary to have success in their life, most people would take cash. Mindset is the main difference between a noble person and an average moneymaker.
If you sell products that you know are not providing the value as advertised and your customers are paying for the values they do not receive, you are taking value away from them and according to the Bible, creating curse in your life. It doesn't make your life abundant and happy, as creating increase in a negative way will not have a spiritual blessing. However, our success as buyers depends still only on our own mindset and not of the mindset of sellers; our own subconscious mind either sabotages us or guides us to success.
